The Birchgrove Public School difference

A strong start

Our school welcomes all students from all backgrounds. We help every child feel safe, included and ready to learn from their very first day.

Our outdoor spaces provide a balance of natural and built environments to encourage safe exploration and play. We have a multipurpose basketball court, quiet play area, adventure playground, sandpit and yarning circle; as well as access to the preschool playground for our younger learners.

Wellbeing focus

We prioritise student wellbeing and believe that every voice matters. We are committed to creating a supportive and inclusive environment where students feel valued, heard, and empowered.

We also provide diverse leadership opportunities that enable students to take an active role in shaping their school community. Student parliament and peer support encourage students to develop essential skills, contribute ideas, and lead positive change.
