Why families choose us
“Birchgrove is my happy school. I’ve made some wonderful friends who all live close by, I have learned two instruments, loved playing sport, and had some amazing opportunities to do things that I wouldn’t think that I’d enjoy. The teachers all care about me, and I care about what happens here. I’m so grateful to have had this as my primary school experience”
— James, Birchgrove Public School (student)
"We have been parents at Birchgrove Public School for 11 years and continue to choose the school for our daughter’s education. The teachers are highly engaged with students academic, social needs and happiness while prioritising a fun learning environment. There’s also many opportunities to be in involved in activities outside of learning time for example, music, STEM, sport. We love the community feel and supportive nature of Birchgrove!
— Liz, Birchgrove Public School (parent)
“Birchgrove has such a lovely community feel. Our kids are happy to come to school, they feel known and cared for by their teachers, and they’ve had so many opportunities to try new things along the way. We love that it feels like a real neighbourhood school where families know each other and everyone feels welcome.”
— Parent, Birchgrove Public School
“What we love most about Birchgrove is that our children can just be themselves. They’ve made great friends, had wonderful teachers and somehow come home talking about everything from sport and music to art, excursions and the latest playground adventure! It’s a happy, down-to-earth school and we feel very lucky to be part of the community.”
