Bell times

Our school day follows a consistent timetable, with dedicated times for learning, play and breaks throughout the day.

Arriving at school on time helps students settle into their classroom routines and be ready for learning. We encourage students to arrive with enough time to prepare for the start of the school day.

If your child arrives after the school day has commenced, please follow the school's late arrival procedures.

Our bell times

Playground supervision begins at 8:30 am, with the school day commencing at 9:00 am and finishing at 3:00 pm.

Students are encouraged to arrive before the 8:55 am morning bell so they have time to settle, meet their class and be ready for the start of learning.

Please note that supervision is not provided on the school grounds before 8:30 am.

Attendance and absences

Regular attendance and arriving at school on time are important for your child's learning, wellbeing and connection to school.

If your child is absent, parents and carers should provide an explanation through the School Bytes Parent Portal as soon as possible.

Illness
If your child is unwell for more than three consecutive school days, a medical certificate may be requested to support the absence.

Late arrivals and early departures
Students who arrive after the school day has commenced or need to leave school early must be signed in or out through the school office.

Travel and extended leave
Families planning travel or extended leave during the school term should complete an Application for Extended Leave through the School Bytes Parent Portal under the Forms tab.
