2025 Enrolments open 5 February 2024.

Department of Education preschools enrol children for one year only – the year before they start kindergarten.

We are now accepting applications for preschool placement in 2024.

Enrolment applications can be found below, or you can pick up a paper copy from the school office.

Applications are to be delivered to the main school office with supporting documents.

Documentation

Please supply these documents with the initial application.  We will not process any application without the following documents:

  • your child's birth certificate or identity documents. Original documents must be sighted by office staff.
  • proof of your child's address - three originals of different documents, eg council rates notice, residential lease, electricity accounts, statutory declaration etc.
  • Immunisation History Statement issued by the Australian Childhood Immunisation Register. More information can be found here.
  • low income health care card (if applicable)
  • family law or relevant court orders (if applicable).

If your child has special circumstances, allergies, health or medical conditions, it's important you tell the principal about these before your child starts preschool. The school may also complete a risk assessment.

We require the above documents to process your application.

Public Health Act 2010

Children who are unvaccinated due to their parent's conscientious objection will no longer be able to be enrolled in preschool from 1 January 2018.

Specific Priority Enrolment Criteria

Copies of these original documents need to accompany your application. If successful you will be required to show original documents at a later date.

  • confirmation of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander status (if applicable)
  • proof of financial hardship such as health or pension card (if applicable)
  • documentation of disability or special need. The region's student support coordinator will be notified and an appraisal carried out to determine the most appropriate support mechanisms.

Note

All information needs to be verified with original documentation before final offers are made. Any false information may influence the status of any offer. Similarly, if any of your circumstances change you must provide current information as soon as possible.
